The method involves constructing models of a complex system, where each model comprises a hierarchized assembly of modelized components e.g. modelized routers. Each component is an instance of object class belonging to a determined object class assembly. The object class assembly comprises a router class representing an abstract model of any router in the complex system. The model describes an interconnection assembly e.g. bus, between two modelized components. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) a computer program product stored on a readable medium comprising program code instructions for implementing a complex system stimulating method (2) a storage unit readable by a computer and storing instructions for implementing the complex system stimulating method.
