<p>An optical disk device for a CD-WO and so forth such that the stand-by mode after recording an optical disk is stabilized without increasing the recording time as a whole and change of the rotational speed is stabilized. The optical disk device has a CPU (1) for, after recording data, causing a laser pickup (7a) to follow-up a track in a predetermined area of an optical disk (8), to seek the first part of the area if the laser pickup (7a) moves out of the area, and thus to repeat the follow-up and seek until the next command.</p> |
