PURPOSE: Provided are an HCV protease, its coding DNA, an expression vector containing the DNA sequence, a transformant transformed with the vector and a manufacturing method of HCV protease by culturing the transformed yeast. CONSTITUTION: An HCV protease or a fused protein fused with ubiquitin includes amino acid sequence as described in fig. An expression vector pYLBC-A/G-UB-PRO contains DNA including the HCV protease coding nucleotide sequence. A transformant, Saccharomyces cerevisiae DCO4-UB-PRO(ATCC 74116), is prepared by transformation with the expression vector and cultured to manufacture HCV protease.
