<p>A system for servicing request (Incoming Request from STB18) for different types of information received in real time from multiple network devices includes a network server for transmitting data indicative of the availability of first type information and second type information simultaneously to multiple network devices. The server also receives a plurality of first requests for the first type information and a plurality of second requests for the second type information, responsive to the transmitted data. A first queue (219) queues the received plurality of first requests as high priority requests. A second queue (212) queues the received plurality of second requests as low priority requests. A processor (216) then services the requests queued in the first queue (210) prior to servicing the requests queued in the second queue (212).</p> |
