A cushion material having applications in an automobile, furniture and the like, which comprises a foamed molded product containing an active component incorporated therein, which increases the dipole moment of the foamed product, in an amount of 10 to 200 parts by weight relative to 100 parts by weight of the foamed product. The cushion material has not only low rebound resilience, but also a considerable hardness, and thus exhibits good cushioning properties, has a foam structure resistant to destruction even during deformation and shows good restoring characteristics after deformation.
