Disclosed is a semiconductor fuse for electrical consumers (2). A semiconductor switch (3) is situated between the battery (1) that serves as a current or voltage source and the consumer (2). A short-circuit-proof bypass (4) is situated in parallel to the semiconductor switch (3). Said bypass has an integrated wakeup-circuit (5) which co-operates with the semiconductor switch (3).
