The present invention specifies an arrangement for a fishing implement for use in particular in recreational fishing to be mounted between a fish hook and a fishing line on recreational fishing gear, wherein the arrangement comprises a light permeable tubular piece, which at a first end is provided with means for securing to a fishing line and at the other end is provided with removable fastening means for mounting of a fish hook device, and in the tubular piece it is possible to apply a fluorescent, preferably stick-shaped active light means. This accomplishes a device in the form of a jig for recreational fishing, which has an active light source, so that it produces a fluorescent light by itself, and thus its effectiveness is not dependent on the existing amount of light reflected in the fishing pond. <IMAGE>
