The method for converting a plain inner door (1) into a paneled inner door with at least one panel offset from the door plane involves cutting a panel (3) with a gap (2) out of the plain inner door, producing two frames with use of profiled strips with an essentially T-shaped cross sections , fitting these frames around the panel and gluing them into the resultant door opening. Also claimed is a pane-led door obtained by the proposed method.
