PURPOSE:To obtain specified output voltage even if the voltage of a battery lowers. CONSTITUTION:A voltage detecting means (8) which detects the voltage of the battery (3) and a duty ratio control section (9) which finds a duty ratio proportional to the voltage detected by this voltage detecting means (8) are provided, in a booster power device which uses a battery as its power source, causes current to flow into the primary side of a transformer or interrupts it by a switching circuit, and outputs boosted voltage on the secondary side, and the 'on' period of the switching circuit (4) is controlled by the duty ratio found in the duty ratio control section (9). |
