PURPOSE: A spoiler for a vehicle is provided to improve braking force and traveling stability by varying air resistance according to the traveling state with modifying the structure. CONSTITUTION: A spoiler of a vehicle is composed of a detecting unit(100) having a brake detecting sensor and an accelerator detecting sensor to output a detecting signal according to braking or accelerating; a control unit(200) comparing by receiving the signal from the detecting unit, and outputting control signals in braking or accelerating; a driving unit(300) actuating according to the control signal from the control unit; and a spoiler plate(400) spaced from a trunk lid, and installed in the rear part of the vehicle to adjust the installation angle. Air resistance is reduced with placing the spoiler plate horizontally in traveling and vertically in braking. Road holding is improved with reducing braking distance by varying air resistance according traveling state.
