PURPOSE: A structure for keeping a spare tire for a vehicle is provided to easily perform replacing of a spare tire by installing a linking unit and driving unit to the groove for putting a spare tire in. CONSTITUTION: A structure for keeping a spare tire for a vehicle is composed of a supporting plate(1) equipped with a spare tire(S), a linking unit installed between the supporting plate and a groove for putting the spare tire in so as to lift the supporting plate, and a driving unit installed so as to drive the linking unit and connected to a switch(2) installed to the inside of a vehicle. In the driving unit both ends is supported with a bearing(3) at the base of the groove for putting a spare tire in. The driving unit is connected to a motor(4) connected to the switch, and composed of a ball screw(7) having a left and right groove and a first and second slider(8,9) connected to the screw grooves. The linking unit is composed of a first and second link(13,14). Therefore easily putting in and taking out a spare tire is possible.
