A detergent composition is provided to increase a detergency efficiency for grease and abietic acid, to do less harm to environment, and to produce a detergent with high efficiency and at low cost. A detergent composition includes 50-90vol% of a hydrocarbon solvent and 10-50vol% of an acetate compound represented by the following formula 1, or 20-98vol% of the hydrocarbon solvent, 1-30vol% of the acetate compound, and 1-50vol% of 1-bromopropane. In the formula 1, R^1 is C1-5 alkyl, C1-5 alkoxy, C1-5 hydroalkyl, or the formula (a), wherein R^2 is hydrogen, C1-5 alkyl, or the formula (b), and n is an integer of 1-5. |
