A mold for preventing formation of a weld line is provided to heat parts to be formed with weld lines locally, using heating units so as to shorten standby time taking to heat a cavity and the reduce cost and time taking to heat the cavity. A mold(100) for preventing formation of a weld line comprises a cavity(110), heating units(120), and a power supply device(130). The cavity solidifies molten metal injected through gates(40) with a shape to be molded. The heating units are installed on the cavity to heat the cavity locally. The power supply device supplies power to the heating units. The heating units are Peltier elements.
