A rear panel assembly for an electronic device is provided to reduce the time required for assembly work by facilitating maintenance of the electronic device without separating or reinstalling a connector cable to a connector terminal of the rear panel. A rear panel assembly for an electronic device comprises a first rear panel(100) installed on the rear surface of the electronic device and having a first connector terminal unit(110), and a second rear panel(200) detachably coupled to the first rear panel and having a second connector terminal unit(210). The second rear panel includes a recess(201), which is formed on a surface corresponding to the first connector terminal to expose the first connector unit to the exterior. The second rear panel includes a fixture(203) to fix an external connector cable connected to the first connector terminal unit.
