PURPOSE: An insulator for a Mcpherson type suspension system is provided to improve the stability in a travel by maintaining the camber angle of a vehicle wheel a negative camber when a vehicle turns or bumps. CONSTITUTION: An insulator for a Mcpherson type suspension system comprises a semicircular soft rubber part(11) attached to a lower support(16) toward the inside of a vehicle, a semicircular hard rubber part(12) attached to the lower support toward the outside of the vehicle, and conical hard rubber parts(13) installed on the soft rubber part and the hard rubber part in upper supports(15). The insulator connected vertical to the piston rod of a shock absorber widens the piston rod when a large load is applied to a specific vehicle wheel. Thus, the insulator is in the negative camber state.
