PURPOSE:To reduce labor for correcting the transmission program of a computer on a forms data transmission side by fetching a specified character string, a neumerical character string showing to be within a prescribed neumerical limit, etc., as forms data from inside of a document text prepared in the computer for purpose of printing and storing. CONSTITUTION:The computer 10 inputs a print file and a forms format, prepares a file after editional conversion and converts a format overlay source code to a format overlay object. Then, the computer 10 outputs a format overlay project and the file after editional conversion to a printer. When a forms preparing device 1 receives the file after editional conversion by way of a forms data fetching part 12, an internal storage device stores the file after editional conversion as edition raw data 14. And, a character string retrieving part 22 extracts forms data for preparing a forms by retrieving the inside of the fetched document text based on a retrieving definition 24 stored in a storage part. |
