PURPOSE:To provide an ink absorber suitable for writing material with a fine pen point. CONSTITUTION:An ink absorber 10 for writing material consists of at least one kind or more of fiber bundle. The fibers employed for the ink absorber consists of polyethylene terephthalate fibers and/or polypropylene fibers or fibers A having the cross-sectional shape with at least three or more projected parts under the condition that the content of the fibers A having the projected parts is 30% or more. Thus, the absorber, the ink retention of which is excellent and the performance after long time of which is stable, can be realized, resulting in increasing writing distance and remarkably improving the performance of a pen and allowing to suppress the fluctuation of the quality between product as small as possible. |
