CIRCUIT FOR DELAYING FREQUENCY OSCILLATION AND METHOD OF DRIVING THE SAME

A frequency oscillation delay circuit and a method for driving the same are provided to perform a stable frequency oscillation operation by re-performing a frequency oscillation operation after a predetermined time delay. A frequency oscillation delay circuit includes an input circuit unit(300), and a delay circuit unit(302). The input circuit unit receives a power-down signal having a predetermined pulse width. The delay circuit unit outputs a power-down delay signal to a frequency oscillator. The power-down delay signal has a time delay longer than the pulse width in response to the received power-down signal. The frequency oscillator oscillates the frequency signal after delaying the frequency signal as much as the delay time in response to the power-down delay signal outputted from the delay circuit unit. The delay circuit unit has a resistor and a MOS capacitor which is coupled to the resistor.
