PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To stably inject fuel even in high-speed rotation, high oil temperature and high oil pressure by constructing a pressure oil passage portion of a high pressure injector for air to hardly reside. SOLUTION: A high pressure injector for a common rail type high pressure fuel injection system used for a high pressure fuel injection system, comprises a closing member 2 arranged in a circular recess 33a facing a hollow portion 33 between a high pressure oil passage 32 ranging to a pressure increasing piston and a drain passage 37 through which hydraulic oil O is drained when a poppet valve 23 is closed, whereby the upper part of the circular recess 33a is closed for guiding hydraulic oil O returning from the high pressure oil passage 32 to smoothly flow through the lower side of the circular recess 33a to the hollow portion 33, preventing bubbles generated in the hydraulic oil O from residing in the high pressure injector. |
