PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information recording medium which does not allow the copying of the contents of a DVD video with which copying is prohibited but allows at least, one time of copying of the contents of a DVD video with which copying is not prohibited or the contents of a self-recorded video. SOLUTION: The optical disk D with which the copying of first information prohibited of copying is impossible but at least one time of copying of the second information not prohibited of copying is possible has a recording region R which is the region for recording the first and second information respectively and has a first depth d1 and a prepit region PR which is a region to record the copyright information indicating the feasibility of at least one time of copying and is formed with the prepits of a second depth d2 deeper than the first depth d1.
