PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device which is easy in carriage and treatment of the refuse, reduced in cost, free from any air pollution, and excellent in dwelling environment by improving the place where the refuse is disposed of in a conventional refuse treatment method. SOLUTION: In order to reduce the size of a refuse treatment facility (a refuse incineration facility), and to make a considerable advancement in renovating the treatment facility, this device is designed with reduction in size and cost as the target. A part of a fence 2 of a conventional refuse box is of expandable structure, and the refuse is thrown in. When the refuse of appropriate quantity is thrown in, a compression device is operated to compress the refuse. The outer periphery of the refuse in a compressed condition is packed by a packing material 5. The refuse which is compressed, reduced in size and packed is taken out, and carried to the treatment facility by a regular truck, etc., and treated.
