PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a cell receiving circuit unnecessitating data control in a peripheral device by unnecessitating a data holding circuit of a large circuit scale, changing memory constitution and controlling a pointer so as to write data in a received cell into a designated address. SOLUTION: When a cell judging circuit 2 judges that the condition of received cell is coincident, a cell condition coincidence signal 1p becomes '1' to set a storing state signal 1j outputted from a memory control circuit 3 set to be '1' to advance a WR pointer signal 1k outputted from a pointer control circuit 4 and '1' is outputted to a one-sell storing signal 11 at the same time. When the condition of the received cell is not coincident, the signal 1p is still '0', so that an area on a memory 5 is overwritten by next cell receiving data. When, this operation is repeated and data for four cells are written in the memory 5, an FULL signal is outputted from the circuit 3 becomes '1' to prohibit writing to the memory after that.
