PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To adjust skew easily with high precision by varying the supporting height of a guide rail that forms the transporting path of an optical pickup. SOLUTION: An eccentric pin 72b is projectingly provided in the axial direction at one end of a guide rail 7, and is rotatably supported by a bearing I5 with displacement regulated in the height direction. The guide rail 7 is rotated with the eccentric pin 72b, with the shaft end of the guide rail 7 adjustably raised and lowered in the range of the inter-axial distance between the guide rail 7 and the eccentric pin 72b, namely, in the range twice the size 2L of the eccentric distance L. As a result, the inclined angle of the guide rail 7 is varied relative to the base chassis 2, enabling a skew to be adjusted that is formed by the optical axis of the optical pickup 5 and the signal recording face of an optical disk.
