<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processor which can extract a segment of optional width from a continuous-tone image having an uneven background by scanning the image data by means of a segment basic element that is equivalent to a prescribed graphic shape element and extracting the segment data having the segment width that is decided from the scanned image data. SOLUTION: An image input part 10 acquires the image data on an original image serving as a segment extracting object from the outside of an image processor. An image storing part 20 stores the image data which are acquired by the part 10. An extracting line width decision part 30 decides the width of a segment that should be extracted from the original image. A segment extraction part 40 extracts the pixel data configuring a segment having the width decided by the part 30 from the image data which are acquired by the part 10 and stored in the part 20 as the segment data. An undesired segment elimination part 50 eliminates the undesired data out of the segment data which are extracted by the part 40. Then a control part 60 controls a total operation of the image processor.</p> |
