摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an exothermic resistance type flow rate measuring apparatus capable of high precision measurement of fluid flow rate by improving measurement precision of air temperature with a temperature detecting resistor, in a sub-passage wherein channel constitution is complicated for the purpose of performance improvement like suction air pulsation countermeasure. SOLUTION: In order to guide a flow toward a terminal member 3 retaining a temperature detecting resistor 2, a flow dividing plate 11 and a protruding structure 13 are installed in the downstream side of the resistor 2 and in the upstream side, respectively. Therefore the cooling of the resistor 2 and the terminal member 3 can be made compatible with flow velocity improvement in the sub-passage inside, so that suction air flow rate can be measured highly precisely under a high temperature environment in an engine room. The measuring range of flow rate can be effectively enlarged.
