PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a paper sheets supply device which makes it possible to set next process paper sheets even when precedent process paper sheets are taken out. SOLUTION: This device is equipped with a 1st backup unit 13 which has a 1st tray where stacked tickets K are mounted, moves the 1st tray 16 to send the stacked tickets K to a taking-out position B, and moves the 1st tray 16 away from the taking-out position B after the stacked tickets K are all taken out by a taking-out rotor 12 and a 2nd backup unit 14 which has a 2nd tray 17 where stacked tickets K are mounted, holds the 2nd tray 17 below the 1st tray 16 while the tickets are taken out of the 1st tray 16 by the taking-out rotor 12, and elevates the 2nd tray 17 when the 1st tray 16 is moved away from the taking-out position B to send the stacked tickets K to the taking-out position B.
