PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electro-optical device in which the work efficiency of an assembling process can be improved and further the reliability can be improved. SOLUTION: In a backlight unit 200 arranged so as to face one surface side of an electro-optical panel 100 of the electro-optical device 1, a light guide plate 210 and the sheet-shaped optical parts 251, 252 are collectively fixed by a backlight fixing frame 220. At a front frame part 221 of the backlight fixing frame 220, a projection 223, which is in contact with the electro-optical panel 100 at a region where driving circuits 60, 70 are formed and lets heat generated in the driving circuits 60, 70 go to the backlight fixing frame 220 when the backlight unit 200 and the electro-optical panel 100 are superimposed, is formed. |
