PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eliminate a sorting device to reduce a facility cost and a space, allow smooth delivery in a short lead time, when many kinds of color picture tubes are produced in a multi-kind-mixed production line. SOLUTION: Characteristics are inspected in a delivery inspection process 36 by an inspection device 41 in this production method. A label 43 is attached by a label attaching device 42. Plural kinds of color picture tubes 31 are packed sequentially into packing boxes 44 corresponding to the kinds based on the labels 43. A sorting device is not required, a lead time is shortened, a facility cost and a space are reduced, and deliveries for plural customers are allowed concurrently since concurrent productions of plural kinds are possible.
