PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To count pachinko balls passing through both ball moving gutters by providing just one pachinko ball sensor even when there are two columns of the ball moving gutters, to reduce manufacture cost compared to the case of providing a plurality of sensors, to eliminate the danger of causing detection errors and to accurately count the pachinko balls all the time in a ball dispensing device for dispensing the pachinko balls by the rotation of a lead screw. SOLUTION: The lead screw 1 rotated by a pulse motor is supported almost vertically, ball moving gutters 5a and 5b in a vertical cylinder shape are respectively formed at asymmetrical positions on both sides of the lead screw and a ball counting sensor 9 composed of a projector 10 and a light receiver 11 is provided so as to make the optical axis 12 pass both ball moving gutters over on the outer side of the lead screw. Also, by forming the inner surfaces of the side walls 4a and 4b of the ball moving gutters so as to be in different levels for both ball moving gutters, the time that the pachinko balls 3 passing through both ball moving gutters interrupt the optical axis is set so as to be almost the same.
