PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a container that can accommodate wet sheets impregnated with an impregnant containing an astringent for a long term without browning. SOLUTION: This is a package 10 formed from a sheet material having a gas barrier layer, and consists of a storage 12 with an opening 11 for taking out wet sheets on the upper face and a lid 13 adhered to periphery of the opening 11. Here, wet sheets stored in the storage 12 have been impregnated in an impregnant containing an astringent, and the gas barrier layer of the sheet material is composed of a ceramic-evaporated film that has been processed by evaporating a ceramic like silica, alumina or the like on a substrate.
