PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To develop a mat using charcoal packs to ease maintenance of partial exchange when soiled with excrements, or the like, for preventing and removing malodor in beds for the sick or old, to provide the mat utilizing durable charcoal packs that prevent charcoal from local shift by physical pressure and allow even disposition of charcoal in used and unused portions, while letting the charcoal packs fixed to the back of panels for interior ornaments (ornamental pictures, calligraphic works, tapestries, or the like). SOLUTION: Upper cloth 1 and lower cloth 2 of nonwoven fabric with gas permeability are formed in the size of quilt or a bed and overlapped, laterally press-welded with a fixed separation in the longitudinally lengthwise configuration to provide a plurality of press-welded portions 3 and make cylindrical portions between the welded portions 3, and their both ends are used as the mouth 4 for taking in or out charcoal packs, through which a plurality of charcoal packs 5 are successively inserted. Then, it is used by folding at fold portions 6 to the side of lower cloth 2 and laying under the quilt or mat, or between the comforter and bed.
