PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To install finishing carpentry members such as sills and door sills between floor surface having steps without generating any gaps in any floor surface. SOLUTION: Finishing carpentry members such as sills and door sills provided between floor surface f1, f2 having steps (a) comprise finishing carpentry member bodies 21 and gap filling members 1a, 1b for finishing carpentry members mounted on its edge portions, and the members 1a, 1b couple side walls 12a, 12b to constitute a substantially L-shaped section by an upper surface member piece 10b on the upper surface member piece 10b to constituted an edge part along the longitudinal direction of the surface of the finishing carpentry members, the side wall 12a of the member 1a is expanded to the lower floor surface f1 side of the finishing carpentry member body 21 to form a thick flange part 13a, the upper surface member piece 10b of the member 1b is expanded on the higher floor surface f2 side to form a thin flange part 13b, and these flange parts 13a, 13b are allowed to abut on the floor surface f1, f2, respectively.
