<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a storage medium access controller capable of effectively utilizing the storage capacity of a flash memory by rewriting data for each byte even in the case of the flash memory disabled to erase data for each byte. SOLUTION: After the block of a flash ROM to update data by a CPU is designated, the data on the flash ROM are transferred to a RAM and saved (step S131). Next, data such as error memory data are updated for each byte on the RAM by the CPU (step S132). Next, data in one block of the flash ROM containing data saved to the RAM are erased by the CPU (step S133). Further, data updated on the RAM by the CPU are transferred to the flash ROM again (step S134).</p> |
