摘要 <p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve photoelectric transfer efficiency of a photoelectric transfer device by a film construction in which intermediate films are formed between a transparent substrate and a transparent conductive film. SOLUTION: A transparent substrate 39, a transparent conductive film 33, a photoelectric transfer units 37 and 38 and a rear side electrode 35 are layered in sequence starting from the side on which luminous rays are incident and intermediate films 31 and 32 are further formed between the transparent substrate and the transparent conductive film. The intermediate films are formed in such a way that the relationship between the average reflectivity R1 in a wavelength range between (λ-50)-(λ+50) and the average reflectivity R2 in the above wavelength range when no intermediate film is formed is R1<=R2×0.8 letting the wavelength of the luminous rays with which spectral-response characteristic of the photoelectric transfer unit becomes maximum isλnm. Also in the case of a tandem device including a plurality of photoelectric transfer units, intermediate films are formed in such a way that the average reflectivity of each photoelectric transfer unit is decreased in the above wavelength range.</p>
