PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve operation reliability by so arranging the constitution as to apply braking in a desired form to a motor. SOLUTION: A motor controller 1 is one, where a braking logic signal which is pulse width modulated to brake the rotational condition of a motor 2 is used, and it is equipped with a regular braking command controller 6, which generates the regular braking command signal to generate predetermined regular braking, a passage time operating part 7, which calculates a passage time T from the occurrence of the regular braking command signal, and a secondary braking command operating part 8, which generates secondary braking larger than the regular braking, when the passage time T operated in the passage time calculating part 7 exceeds a predetermined reference passage time T0.
