PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make fluctuations of the properties be hardly affected by the dispersion at the time of production and changes of using conditions by incorporating two silver halide emulsions each having a specific STCO value in an image forming unit. SOLUTION: This photosensitive material has at least one image forming unit on a support and the image forming unit contains two silver halide emulsions each having the STCO value shown by the expression and satisfying 0.23<=STCO<=4.26. In the expression, S is the sensitivity of the image forming unit at a predefined density D; S1 is the sensitivity of the silver halide emulsion of the low sensitivity side; S2 is the sensitivity of the other emulsion. The yellow, magenta and cyan image forming units contain two silver halide emulsions, respectively, each having the STCO value satisfying 0.23<=STCO<=4.26 at one point of 0.95-1.30 image density, at one point of 1.45-1.90 image density and at one point of 1.45-1.90 image density, respectively.
