PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the size and weight of a planting frame of a rice transplanter. SOLUTION: A planting frame 25 having a planting tine 30 is liftably placed at the back of a traveling machine 2. In a rice transplanter having the above construction, the planting frame 25 has a nearly comb-formed integrated structure formed by attaching a plurality of longitudinal pipes 29 extending backward to a lateral pipe 28 extending in lateral direction interposing lateral gaps between the longitudinal pipes. Interlocking planting shafts 31-36 interlocking the planting tine 30 with the engine 7 of the traveling machine 2 are included in each pipe 28, 29.
