PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a composition having the viscosity of a cream, present in the form of a stable water-in-oil type emulsion containing a large amount of water and usable in the cosmetic and/or dermatological fields without any defects of the prior art. SOLUTION: This composition comprises an aqueous phase dispersed in an oily phase through the aid of a silicone emulsifying agent in a physiologically acceptable medium. The aqueous phase exhibits at least 80 wt.% based on the total weight of the composition and the emulsifying agent is an alkyldimethicone copolymer having <8 HLB. The weight ratio of the oily phase/emulsifying agent is >=5.
