PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a paper sheet supplying device capable of preventing deterioration in the quality of a cover, etc., put on sheets and improving the air pump operating environment. SOLUTION: A paper sheet supplying device is equipped with a first carrying path 22 whereon the first sheets are carried one by one and stacked on a sheets stacking part S, a tray 24 on which covers P are stacked, a second carrying path 28 to merge with the first carrying path 22, a blowout hole 38 to float a cover by sending the air to the tray, a sucker 30 to suck the cover being floated, a sheet feed device 23 to feed the cover from the tray 24 to the second carrying path 28, and an air pump 34 to make air blowout and suction, whereby the cover is put in standby condition by a pressure roller 25 for the feed to second carrying path 28 until a specified number of first sheets are stacked in the sheets stacking part S, and the operation of the air pump 34 is stopped during the feed standby condition. |
