摘要 <p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To effectively utilize waste materials, such as waste belt material, waste wood, and to reduce the operating cost by cutting off the waste belt material or the waste wood into a prescribed length, charging them into a steelmaking furnace as a heat source, utilizing the combustion heat, raising molten steel temp. and executing heat compensation during blowing. SOLUTION: The waste belt material 1 of a belt conveyor or the waste wood, such as wood-made pallet, cut off to about <=2 m in one side is charged into an inert gas bottom-blown converter 3 through a chute 2 for charging scrap, and molten iron 4 is charged onto this waste material, and further, after charging an auxiliary raw material, such as lime, and a heat source, such as coke, oxygen blowing is executed by using a lance nozzle 5. In this way, the waste belt material 1, or the like, is burnt, and the heat compensation in refining is executed with this heat, and also, steel cord is recovered as molten steel. Further, the waste belt material or the waste wood is charged into the steelmaking furnace after refining, and if necessary, the additional charge is executed and burnt according to waiting time, and the temp. in the furnace is raised or can be held to a prescribed temp. by utilizing this combustion heat.</p>
