PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a suction mouthpiece for a vacuum cleaner that can raise safety. SOLUTION: This mouthpiece is equipped with a rotary brush 2 being exposed to the suction mouthpiece 12 and supported freely rotatably, a motor 3 that drives the rotary brush 2 and a driving circuit 4 that drives the motor 3. When a human body touches a bumper 23 made of an electroconductive material, connected to an open terminal S of the driving circuit 4, contact of the human body is sensed by grounding the terminal S to stop the motor 3.
