PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make it possible to largely reduce burden and stress on an operator by increasing amount of extraction at a time to shorten time of operation without increasing the diameter of the treating tool. SOLUTION: When both handles 13 and 27 are closed in the closed state of a jaw 24, the jaw 24 opens. Concurrently, a pinion 19 starts rotating to let a rack 18 slide toward the tip side, a slide member 16 is projected from the tip of an insertion part 11 of a sheath 2, and the tip of the jaw 24 is placed more ahead of a probe tip 33 while opening and it catches a tooth-shaped projection 36 and pinches a portion to be treated between the probe tip 33 and the jaw 24. Afterward, the pinion 19 starts inverse rotation, the rack 18 is returned, the slide member 16 is moved, the jaw slowly closes, the region to be treated is hauled to this side with the tooth-shaped projection 36 and pushed in between the probe tip 33 and the jaw 24, and the region to be treated is surgically removed with friction heat caused by supersonic oscillation.
