PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ink-jet head and its manufacture which can normally print by preventing ink-jet failures because of air bubbles and dust and can discharge staying air bubbles and dust well. SOLUTION: An actuator has a plurality of channel grooves 31 formed in an align state for storing ink. Each manifold member 14 has an ink feed passage 41 which is connected to the side of inlet ends of the channel grooves 31, extends in an align direction of the channel grooves 31 and supplies ink supplied from an ink feed hole to inlet ends of the channel grooves 31. A plurality of long nearly columnar filter members 43a and 43b are set in parallel two rows via a predetermined distance to inlet ends of the channel grooves 31. Each of filter members 43a is arranged to meet a gap of filter members 43b. A distance of semicircular end parts of the filter members 43a and 43b is formed to be narrow.
