A honeycomb structure that is free from misalignment in the positional relationship between individual through-holes of each laminate member after lamination, being reduced in pressure loss and being free from cell clogging. There is provided a columnar honeycomb structure having a laminate member with multiple through-holes laminated so as to form multiple cells, characterized in that the laminate member has nearly a disk shape, and that a positioning structure, such as a planar portion or projecting portion, is disposed on the outer circumference side face of the laminate member. Further, there is provided a columnar honeycomb structure having a laminate member with multiple through-holes laminated so as to form multiple cells, wherein the laminate member has a configuration of disk split into multiplicity so that a disk configuration as a whole is created by combining of pieces of split configuration. |
