摘要 A method for manufacturing a light emitting device is provided to suppress a decrease in a vacuum degree due to an out-gas by decreasing the amount of the out-gas after a ventilating process. A light emitting unit includes an electron emitting unit(20), a fluorescent layer(24), and an anode electrode(26). The electron emitting unit includes driving electrodes(16,18) and an electron emitter(14) arranged on first and second substrates(12,22), respectively. The first and second substrates are assembled to each other using a sealing member, such that the electron emitting unit faces the light emitting unit. The assembly is fired to bond the first and second substrates with each other. A primary ventilating process is performed by using a ventilating tube. Voltages are applied on the driving and anode electrodes, such that an out-gas is ejected from the assembly. A secondary ventilating process is performed by using the ventilating tube. The ventilating tube is sealed.
