PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a self-diagnosing function with constitution wherein no address is assigned and to easily perform periodic inspection by using a portable tester. SOLUTION: At least a fire detecting circuit 10 which detects a fire on the basis of smoke density and temperature, a memory circuit 11 which stores state data obtained by self-diagnosis, and a signal output circuit 12 are provided. The fire detecting circuit 10 when detecting a fire outputs a fire signal by the signal output circuit 12 and always monitors the state of the sensor 1 to store its state data in the memory circuit 11.
