PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a method, by which a folded map in which a large number of complicated peak folding lines and valley folding lines are formed, can be efficiently produced. SOLUTION: This map is constituted by aggregation of recessed polyhedrons composed of four parallelograms which are arranged in the shape of feathers of an arrow in a state where apexes and adjacent two sides are jointly owned. Among sides of a direction crossing the arrow feather direction, sides adjacent in the arrow feather direction are folded in opposing directions to each other by peak-folding. Among sides in parallel to the arrow feather direction, sides adjacent in the arrow feather direction and sides adjacent in a direction vertical to the arrow feather direction are folded in opposing directions to each other by valley-folding. In this map, a folding panel 3 having a buckling projected stripe 3a extending along one among a peak folding line (x) and a valley folding line (y) is produced and the buckling projected stripe 3a is strongly pushed against a front surface or a rear surface of the map while pressurizing the map surface from a direction vertical thereto and in this pushing process, peak- folded hinge and valley-folded hinge are formed in the map.
