PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tide embankment for protecting precious life, property, culture, education and peaceful living of people from tsunami and, at the same time, solving a fear of tsunami disturbing the development of industry. SOLUTION: With the center of a semi-circular tsunami reversal device 1 as the standard, a tsunami leading board 2 turning sideways and a tsunami blow-up leading board 3 turning obliquely upward at 45 deg. are fixed with tsunami reversal piers 6, and a tsunami reversal meandering prevention board 10 is fixed between both tsunami reversal piers 6. A space between the tsunami reversal device 1 and tsunami leading board 2 is used for a tsunami absorption port 4, a space between the tsunami reversal device 1 and tsunami blow-up leading board 3 is used for a tsunami blow-up port 5, and a streamlined main force wave absorbing device 7 turning obliquely upward at 23 deg. in front thereof and a streamlined subsidiary wave absorbing device 8 turning obliquely upward at 30 deg. thereon are fixed with wave absorbing piers 9 to fix a wave absorption meandering prevention board 11 between the wave absorbing piers 9.
