PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and apparatus capable of smoothly charging an inflammable organic substance without dropping into opening and closing supporting structure part of inlet lid or a seal structure part of input port lid or space between input port lid and exterior when the inflammable organic substance is charged into a carbonizing chamber. SOLUTION: This tray for charging an inflammable organic substance is produced so as to fit in an input port part of a carbonizing chamber. The tray can be arranged separately from input port part of the carbonizing chamber or can be arranged and housed in a state connected to input port part of the carbonizing chamber.
