PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To judge correctly if a battery is deteriorated by controlling the current sharing rate of an AC-DC converting part to a low value temporarily manually. SOLUTION: After charging of a battery is completed, an AC-DC converting part is charged over to a current control type so as to lower the set point of a drooping current, i.e., to set the current sharing rate to a lower value. For example, the current supplied from the AC-DC converting part is controlled to 10% of the current supplied to a load. Specifically, the AC-DC converting part is operated as an automatic control device of a current control type to set the value of 10% of the entire load current as the target value of its output current. Then, a battery shares 90% of the current supplied to the load. When the current is shared at the sharing rate of 10%, the output current can be set to 10% because the variation of the load is small practically. This structure produces no reverse current, thereby making it possible to perform the cumulative measurement of a discharging current correctly and to judge correctly if the battery is deteriorated.
|
